My DPS' main focus is the image and does follow some of the typical conventions of a double page spread; such as a pull text, main body of text, the date and page number. On the other hand, the image does slightly bleed into the gutter, which does not follow the conventions of a double page spread, however this adds to my house style; which can be described as somewhat unnatural, simplistic, yet modern and cultivated. The title is in a graffiti font, which corresponds with the Grime genre as they are often associated together. The pull quote also includes urban slang which caters towards the target audience; youth in London.
I then adapted my DPS to have the magazine website and other social media links to follow the conventions of double page spreads and in order for the aesthetics to avoid resembling the characteristics of a poster.
